Meet Even!

Even is our very helpful and friendly Head of Customer Success. He was the first employee in OwnersRoom back in 2017 and has been helping our customers succeed with their investors ever since. Read on to get to know more about Even and his role in the team.

What’s the best thing about working In OwnersROOM?

If you’re already an OwnersRoom customer, you will most likely have befriended Even by now. You will know that he is easy-going but ambitious which makes him the perfect fit for the customer success role in OwnersRoom.

What you might not know about Even is that he loves the outdoors and often spends his weekends hiking, sailing or kiting (hence the picture of him above). He has travelled the world but has now settled down at Kampen in Oslo with his long-time girlfriend Julie. As we want you to get to know Even better, we’ve asked him these five questions:

Can you tell us a bit about your background?
I have a bachelor degree in educational science from Aarhus University in Denmark and a masters degree in leadership and organizational psychology from BI in Oslo. My background has helped me become aware of the many behavioral biases we as individuals and organisations face when interacting with customers, coworkers and stakeholders in general. I use this knowledge on a daily basis to really understand the needs of our customers.

What does a typical workday look like for you?
Varied! I’m responsible for developing the customer success function in OwnersRoom so I spend quite some time developing the internal playbook for customer success. A lot of my time is also spent meeting with new customers to help them get a flying start on OwnersRoom. Then there’s the everyday support inquiries from users, as well as the gathering of user feedback to improve our product.

What’s the best thing about working in OwnersRoom?
It’s without a doubt the team I’m part of. The spirit and culture here is fantastic! I get to work with a mix of serial entrepreneurs, experienced tech wizards and young business people who are all passionate about solving really big problems for our customers. And since we’re a small team, everyone is heavily involved in the major strategic decisions, which is interesting and rewarding. 

What do you like to do outside of work?
I like kiting, sailing, football, cooking – and I’m also a frisbee-golf fanatic.
